Why is it that so many restaurants get their wine lists all wrong? They are either so short of information that is impossible to make a choice, or so huge that a caring host diner will have no chance at all of making a decision without absenting himself for a couple of hours attentive study.

And then, so many lists are either created by wine merchants with bottles they need to move on, or put together by accountants seeking immoral profit margins, with no thought at all of the style of the restaurant's cuisine, let alone consulting the chef.

Well, we believe that our wine list is created by us, to reflect, and compliment our food, style and enhance our ambience. If you have any special requests either before your visit, or on the day, speak with our sommelier "Nuno" who will be delighted to help and advise.

Veneto Select

The Veneto region produces around 20% of all the wine produced in Italy yet it is so badly represented in the UK, the owners of Veneto Select took it upon themselves to select the very best of Veneto and bring it back to the UK. All of their products are exclusive to (good) wine lovers in the UK.

All of Veneto’s suppliers are family run small to medium size producers; they are very proud - and rightly so - of their fabulous wines and won’t sell to just anyone! Many of the producers have won awards for their wine and as a result, have been selected by many Michelin-starred chefs (including our very own Andy Waters).
